Now before I go into details about the L2311 piston, let me give a little bit of information about Federal-Mogul. About 6 years ago Federal-Mogul merged with TRW engine parts. So really the L2311 is a TRW forged piston. Now on to the L2311 30. The last two numbers 30 mean the piston is +.030".
