WebI took lithium carbonate for more than 30 years. I then (slowly) transitioned to lithium orotate, due to concerns of side effects with the carbonate. I am extremely happy with the orotate (no side affects, and VERY effective!) after almo st 3 years. Hope this is helpful to someone out there, who might want to research further.
