There seems to be some agreement that the power loss from flywheel to rear wheels is about 17-18%. But I don't get it. Let's run a scenario: I've got a 302 making 300FWHP. 18% loss is about 55HP leaving 245RWHP, and that sounds like it could easily be accurate.
