Of course, this means that they cost more and require more prep work, but they reward you with extended durability. As far as sealants go, the above mentioned FK1000 is very durable and fairly cheap. More likely to have downsides than benefits. The FK will remove tar with the solevents in it.. will the 915 also do that? Probably, most all LSPs will do that, even Souveran.
